Holiday destination
In 10 minutes walk to the white sandy beach - natural, and formed only by dunes and cliff sections.
In front of the dune area is the Baltic Sea bike path.
Barendorf is a central starting point for excursions to the surrounding area, such as the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck, Wismar or Schwerin. Also the Baltic resorts Travemünde with the big drives, Timmendorf or Scharbeutz are easily accessible.
Getting there
Take the A20 freeway. At the Schönberg exit, turn in the direction of Schönberg. Stay on the Schönberg bypass until you reach the Schönberg/Dassow exit. After turning off in the direction of Dassow, follow the signs in the direction of Harkensee/Barendorf via Wieschendorf.

When we decided to buy and rent a vacation home, we came across Barendorf because it offers us city people an island of tranquility. In this way we are happy to be able to share with other people our passion in this beautiful spot.

Die Wohnung ist super schön und insbesondere gut eingerichtet. Von der Küchenausstattung, über genug Abstellflächen im Bad, bis hin zu Postkarten, Fernglas am Fenster, Einkaufstasche oder Skateboards für die Kinder. Man fühlt sich direkt wie Zuhause. Obendrein noch sehr sauber und eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin.
Mit Kindern sollte man bedenken, dass sie oben in DG ist und man viele Treppen zu laufen hat, dafür wird man mit einer schönen Aussicht belohnt.
Das angegliederte Schwimmbad ist ebenfalls sehr schön und die Lage ist herrlich. Fußläufig waren wir in 15 Minuten am Strand und auch von der Wohnung aus sieht man etwas Meer und abends einen schönen Sonnenuntergang.

Es ist die FeWo, die vom Mobiliar und Küchenausstattung am besten ausgestattet ist, die wir bisher an der Ostsee gebucht haben. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und dekoriert. Die Matratzen im SZ sind sehr bequem. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Innenpool. Da wir mit Hund dort waren und dadurch nicht schnurstracks zum Strand gehen konnten, war es uns zum Strand etwas zu weit
