The Valley View appartment is located on a sunny south slope only a footstep from the forest - with lovely view to the valley, the French Vosges and the Black Forest. Quiet within pure nature. Ideal starting point for walking and hiking, mountain biking and cycling tours. Open air swimming in 2 km in Ettenheim.
Münchweier is a cosy little wine village and is home of numerous restaurants (all in walking distance from our house). Ettenheim, a remarkable small baroque town, is only 2 km away and offers a large number of shopping possibilities.
Our appartment is conveniently located: The motorway (A5) may be reached in 7 km and easily takes you to all Black Forest attractions, the Europa-Park Rust (10 km), the beautiful city of Freiburg (35 km) or Basel (Switzerland 100 km). France (Alsace) and the nature reserve Taubergiessen are nearby (7km), Strassburg, the metropole of the French Alsace is 40 km away.
Getting there
By car: Leave the motorway BAB A5 at exit Ettenheim. Please follow the sign Ettenheim, and go straight throug Ettenheim. In further 2 km you will reach Münchweier. Remain on the main street til you get to the restaurant 'Rebstock'. Turn left to the 'Winkel' and stay on this small road for 500 metres til the next turn left, which is our road 'Talblick'. Drive up the road and you will find our house numbered 20 on your right hand, beautifully surrounded by large trees.

Durch die Tage herrliche Ausflüge links und rechts des Rheins, abends freut man sich aufs "heimkommen" in eine liebevoll und gemütliche eingerichtete Wohnung. Wir danken Fam. Niemann für die herzliche Aufnahme, und für die Freude, die sie den Gästen mit diesem wunderschönen und ruhig gelegenen Domizil macht.
Speziell war die Führung von Frau Niemann in der hauseigenen Obstbrennerei. Wir konnten verschiedene feine Brände degustieren und haben dabei viel Interessantes gelernt und vertieft!
