Holiday destination
The Schwarzenbach dam, Lake Mummelsee and the Hornisgrinde mountain - the highest elevation in the Northern Black Forest - all lie on the famous Schwarzwaldhochstraße panoramic road that leads between Baden-Baden and Freudenstadt.
The Kaltenbronn moorland landscape on the Westweg hiking trail between Pforzheim and Basel is a beautiful nature reserve. Take a trip down the Rhine and visit the Alsace region with its pottery factories.
Getting there
Via the A5, Rastatt exit, head towards Freudenstadt (30km).
Via the A5, Baden-Baden exit, Freudenstadt, B500 ("Schwarzwaldhochstrasse") 25km.

Im August habe ich eine wunderschöne Woche in der Ferienwohnung der Familie Bäuerle verbracht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders schön war der Start in den Tag mit einer Tasse Kaffee auf dem überdachten Balkon.
Die Gastfreundschaft war großartig und auch die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Sie bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und für schöne Touren.
An fünf Tagen war ich mit meiner geliebten MX-5 unterwegs, natürlich mit offenem Verdeck. Fast 3.000 km bin ich über schöne Nebenstraßen durch die Berge und Wälder des Schwarzwaldes gefahren.
Jeden Tag habe ich außerdem eine Wanderung gemacht und einen anderen Wasserfall besucht.
Ich kann die Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen und komme gerne wieder. Hoffentlich im Frühjahr 2027!

Es freut uns dass es Dir bei uns und im Schwarzwald gefallen hat. Die Ausflüge mit der MX-5 haben sicherlich Spaß gemacht.
Als ich Dich bei einer Fahrradtour auf Hundseck getroffen habe, wusste ich dass Dir das Wandern auch gefällt.
Wir wünschen Dir viel Kraft bei Deiner Arbeit in der Kinderklinik und bei Deinem Ehrenamt bei der Feuerwehr.

Wir haben hier ein schöne Urlaub gehabt.Waren zu 4 mal da.Wie immer war alles super und haben diesen Zeit sehr genossen. Sogar unser Hund.Wohnung war sehr saube und neu gestaltet,Grundstück ungezäunt. Gastgeber sehr lieb und immer bereit Tipps für Ausflüge geben.
Bei schönen Wetter Pool in Garten und ruhe in Gartenlaube bei Kaffe und Kuchen.
Danke für euer selbst gemache Kuchen !
Bei wenige schlechten Wetter haben wir dann innen Dart und andere Spiele gespielt.Wir bedanken uns herzlich für diesen schönen Zeit.
