The unique Chiemgau with its Chiemsee and the mountain gives travellers everything they obviously need. Aschau is a frequent health resort. We have a lot of hiking trails and bike paths where you can enjoy the country on your way. The pathes will lead you through the Priental, to the village part "Sachrang" and to the "Kampenwand/ Geigelsteinregion".
Excursions to Lake Chiemsee including the "Fraueninsel" and "Herreninsel" just 6 km far, naturereserves and Moorlands are waiting for you.
Rosenheim 20 km, 50 km Salzburg, Kufstein 25 km. Castles, historic towns around Aschau.Dont Forge to try the : The good Bavarian, traditional gastronomy.

By car:
from freeway to salzburg you need to take the exit Frasdorf, afterwards just 3 km to aschau
by train: with the city train to aschau trainstation
or by bus: to city centre aschau

Ich war mit meiner 82 jährigen Mutter und großen Hund in der reizenden Ferienwohnung zu Gast.
Bei Ankunft wurden wir von Herrn Müller sehr freundlich begrüßt. Er zeigte uns alles , erklärte und gab Tipps wo man am Essen gehen kann.
Da der Penny direkt vor der Tür ist, war der Einkauf schnell erledigt. Es gibt 500 m weiter auch einen Edeka.
Man ist schnell in Österreich, zum tanken zu empfehlen. Der Chiemsee ist um die Ecke, und der Blick von der Terrasse auf die Kampenwand ist wunderschön.
Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Leben braucht. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Das Bad ist modern, und die Betten bequem.
Mein Hund, und auch wir haben den Garten genossen. Vielen Dank an Familie Müller, für einen erholsamen Urlaub bei Ihnen in Aschau! LG Fam. Funk

Wir sind mittwochs abends erst angekommen, da wir leider viele Staus hatten, trotzdem war an der Unterkunft alles für uns bestens vorbereitet worden.
Ich habe zuvor ein sehr nettes Gespräch mit Herrn Müller geführt, sodass ich genau wusste wo alles zu finden war.
Am nächsten Tag hatten wir dann auch die Gelegenheit uns die Unterkunft im hellen anzuschauen.
Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl, und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.
Der Garten war natürlich für unseren 10 Monat alten Schäferhund der absolute Wahnsinn, sowie die Terrasse die auch abends bei einem schönen Bier oder Glas Wein trotz etwas kühleren Temperaturen zum verweilen einlud.
Fazit: Wir waren zwar nur kurz, aber es war sehr schön, sodass wir immer wieder kommen würden.
