We offer a free collection and delivery service to and from the railway station of Kamp-Bornhofen.

Other recreational opportunities
The UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley offers numerous leisure activities for adults, families and children – even in bad weather. Directly from Villa Gast, you can hike on the Rheinsteig trail and visit the “Feindliche Brüder” (“Hostile Brothers”) castles.
Other popular destinations include the Loreley, Boppard, Marksburg Castle in Braubach, Koblenz with the Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, as well as numerous other castles, viewpoints and wine-growing towns along the Rhine. Boat trips on the Middle Rhine can also be easily combined with a stay at our property.
There is an outdoor swimming pool in the village, a thermal spa in Bad Ems, and several indoor swimming pools in the surrounding area. In bad weather, museums, castles and other attractions in the region offer plenty of options for day trips.

Holiday destination
You will find us in Kamp-Bornhofen, in the Unesco World Heritage "Upper Middle Rhine Valley", between Koblenz and the Loreley. Idyllic location in the Rhine Valley, our enemy brothers Castle Liebenstein and Sterrenberg invite you to hike along the Rheinsteig.
Your children can have fun in the private playground. There is a swimming pool in the village and a health spa in Bad Ems. Information on our website.
The "Villa Gast" is ideally suited as a starting point for hikes into the Rhine valley.
Getting there
From the A3, take the A48 towards Koblenz at the Dernbach interchange. Then follow the B42 towards Koblenz-Ost/Vallendar and continue to Kamp-Bornhofen.
In Kamp-Bornhofen, turn left into Bornstraße. At the square with the water pump, keep right and continue onto “Am Hohenrain”. Follow the road until you see the “Villa Gast” sign on the left. Our courtyard entrance is directly behind the sign. Parking is available directly at the accommodation.
Please set your navigation system to avoid ferries, as there is no bridge across the Rhine in Kamp-Bornhofen. There are several speed checks in the Middle Rhine Valley, so take your time and enjoy the journey. Welcome to Villa Gast – your holiday can begin.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber (welche wir gerne weiter empfehlen), in einer wunderschönen Gegend.
Ideal für Menschen,die Erholung suchen und trotzdem nicht nur drinne sitzen wollen.
Für uns war die Kombination jedenfalls 1+ und wir kommen gerne wieder,dann aber zu "viert"!

We stayed for three nights with family Gast and had a wonderful time. The apartment is part of their lovely home, set against a hill with stunning views of the forest behind you, and the valley and Rhine to the front. The apartment had everything we could wish for, but in particular we spent as much time as possible in the extensive gardens at the tables or sun loungers, admiring the stunning views. Gabi and Wolfgang were so welcoming, answering our questions about the best local walks - the apartment is two minutes from a range of clearly signed paths up into the surrounding hills, and less than five minutes' walk from the riverbank. We also enjoyed seeing the local wildlife including deer, lizards and a range of birds. A lovely place with a warm welcome. Josh and Leanne
