You'll find a bakery, a butcher, a little village supermarket and a variety of restaurants all within walking distance. Larger supermarkets can be found 15 minutes away in Lambrecht.
Getting there
Elmstein sits in the triangle of territory surrounded by the A6, the A61 and the A65 motorways.
From the east:
A65 – exit Neustadt-Nord, drive towards Kaiserslautern (B39), take a left towards Elmstein after Lambrecht.
From the west:
A6 – exit Enkenbach/Alsenbach, drive towards Hochspeyer, travel towards Johanniskreuz, when you get there, take a left to Elmstein.

Wir waren Anfang Oktober zu fünft in diesem hübschen kleinem Haus, das für unsere Vorhaben bestens geeignet und gelegen war. Ohne Auto einfach vom Haus aus zu Tagestouren aufbrechen zu können, mit urigen Berghütten als Einkehrmöglichkeit .für unterwegs ... und trotz der schönen Gegend haben wir uns abends auf die gemütliche Stube und das gemeinsame Kochen in der gut ausgestattet Küche gefreut. Ein empfehlenswertes Plätzchen.

Ein Haus voller Wärme und Gemütlichkeit, sehr alt und schön, aber dennoch lebendig. Wenn die alten Balken Geschichten erzählen könnten, es wäre sicherlich sehr spannend.
Alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden und darüber hinaus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Draußen am Bach oder auf der Terrasse zu relaxen, zu frühstücken, zu lesen, zu spielen einfach ein Traum, auch wenn wir dies regenbedingt nur selten genießen durften.
Zu allem passend: der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin sehr nett, unkompliziert und herzlich: vielen Dank an Miriam für einen entspannten Familienurlaub mit unseren "großen" Kindern!!!
