Other recreational opportunities

Canyoning is also available. Local village festas, especially the 3 day Festa della Madonna 7-9th September It is possible to go wine-tasting at many of the small and large producers in the local area, very often these producers also make olive oil which will be included in the tasting. We would be happy to help arrange this.

Holiday destination

Rezzo is proper Italian village set in a wooded valley perfect for walking or mountain biking; with one all round small shop/bar Il Cavagno selling and two restaurants, Sapori del Bosco or Cor-nus an agricolanda just up the hill, both family run and both open part time. The beaches of Imperia or Alassio are 35-45 minutes drive away, or you can picnic by the river and swim in beautifyul surroundings. Further afield Monaco ,Nice or Genoa are well worth a day trip.

Getting there

Rezzo is situated equi-distant from either Genoa or Nice airports, both around a 90min drive away. Both airports have a choice of car rental firms, car hire is advisable to make the most of the area. We will meet you in front of the town hall and lead you up to the house. However if you choose not to hire a car, then both are also well served by trains and then a bus up from the coast to Rezzo. (please enquire for more detailed information about public transport, we can pick you up from the train station by prior arrangement).

Wir waren sehr beeindruckt von dieser wundervollen Idylle und von Liz und Shane. Eigentlich sollte m diesen Ort geheim halten. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Vielen Dank an all lieben Menschen von Rezzo.

Dieses kleine Bergdorf Rezzo hat im Sturm unsere Herzen erobert. Nicht nur die idyllische Lage in den grünen Bergen und die Nähe zum Meer haben uns begeistert. Auch das Ursprüngliche und die netten Menschen hier waren ein tolles Erlebnis. Unsere Gastgeber haben sich vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment unheimlich nett aber unaufdringlich um uns gekümmert: Vom Koffertransport über Vermittlungen und Fahrdienste (zur Weinverkostung), die zügige Behebung der Internetprobleme bis zu Dolmetscherleistungen im örtlichen Gasthaus - alles sehr toll. Das Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet, zweckmäßig und sehr sauber. So stellt man sich Ferien vor: das rundum-sorglos-Paket. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber, von uns bekommt ihr volle Punktzahl!
