Kappeln (Deekelsen) is famous for its TV-series "Der Landarzt" and is only 10 minutes apart by car. It offers a unique "Heringszaun" that is worth a trip.
Holiday destination
Maasholm-Bad benefits from its situation on a peninsula. On one side there is the Baltic Sea with its beach and on the other side there is the river Schlei - you can reach both sides quickly by foot.
Getting there
Arrival by car:
Motorway A7 until exit Schleswig-Schuby, national highway B201 until Kappeln. In Kappeln you take the B199 in direction to Flensburg and after 6km you turn right to the L277 (Maasholm). After 3km you turn left to Maasholm-Bad.
Arrival by train:
Take the train until the train station Süderbrarup. From there you can take the bus via Kappeln to Maasholm-Bad or you take a taxi.

Das Haus bot alle Annehmlichkeiten die wir uns gewünscht haben. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man merkt, dass ihnen dieses Haus eine Herzensangelegenheit ist. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig gelegen in der Ferienhaussiedlung und von dort ist es mit dem Rad oder zu Fuß nur ein Katzensprung an die Ostsee oder an die Schlei. Wir haben besonders die Radtouren genossen, und war das Wetter mal regnerisch wurde uns mit Spielen auch im Haus nicht langweilig. Auch die Strandbesuche bleiben unvergesslich. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen für einen rundum gelungenen Familienurlaub

Die bereits vorliegenden, durchweg positiven Bewertungen geben auch unsere Eindrücke wieder. Die Raumaufteilung des Hauses ist anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, doch gelingt die Anpassung rasch. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter, die erkennbar ein Herz für Vierbeiner haben, sowie der Umstand, dass sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauses ein Verkaufswagen befindet, in dem täglich (!) vormittags frische Backwaren angeboten werden.
