Holiday destination
Gruissan is an old fishing village situated directly by the sea or lagoon. The old town center with the beautiful "Tour Barbarousse" and its picturesque alleys invites you to stroll around, as does the large harbor.
After about 12 km, you reach the city of Narbonne, from a distance, you can spot the greatest attraction, the well-preserved cathedral. Also worth a visit is the market hall, which offers all the specialties of the region for purchase and consumption.
Getting there
Traveling by car from Germany is quite straightforward. For instance, you can take the highway via Lyon towards Barcelona. Take the Narbonne EST exit from the highway. From there, follow the signs towards Gruissan.

Wir durften 2 Wochen, d.h. vom 25. Mai bis zum 8. Juni das zentral gelegene Haus Lotta inder Residenz BORA BORA II nutzen. Nach problemloser Anreise haben wir ein liebevoll und überdurchschnittlich gut eingerichtetes Haus vorgefunden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, gepflegt und sehr sauber. Alles was benötigt wurde war vorhanden. Auf der Terrasse kann man die Seele baumeln lassen.
Man sieht, dass dieses Haus nicht nur an für Feriengäste vermietet wird, sondern auch vom Eigentümer genutzt wird.
Die Residenz besitzt zudem ein großes und sehr sauberes Schwimmbad welches wir, meistens allein, rege nutzten.
Alles in allem nur empfehlenswert. 5 Sterne! Wir kommen im 2025 wieder.

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal in Gruissan, dieses Mal im Ferienhaus von Familie Büttner. Sehr schön eingerichtet, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
