The holiday house in central village position, above the lake shore road, only a few steps from beach, promenade, restaurants, cafes and shops. Cannero Riviera lies on the right side in a sunny and mild climatic position and its beautiful lido allows many water sports. The village offers many hiking possibilities into the woods and mountains.

Getting there

Access/parking: follow the Piemontese road along the lake (Locarno, Ascona, Brissago, Cannobio) up to Cannero Riviera. Just after the Agency Zanetti turn left towards the center and then turn right into “Via Nico Lazzaro” (third crossing on the right). Continue until the Church and park your car in one of the available public parking space near the church. Walk up towards the main road (about 50 meters) and cross over. Go through the iron gate, which you will find just before the large yellow house with the small front garden (number 1), follow the steps until you reach the second house on the left (30 meters). The parking area in front of the house (off the state street) is suitable only for a small car.

Pro: Gute Ausstattung, alles da was man braucht! Tolle Aussicht, guter Allgemeinzustand, super Gästebetreuung! Hier nochmals vielen Dank! Contra: Unerwähnte, super steile Treppe zum Haus ohne Geländer und Beleuchtung mit losen Steinen. Für ältere Menschen oder kleine Kinder nicht zu bewältigen teilweise ernsthaft gefährlich. Als Wegbeschreibung lediglich zu sagen 30 Meter bis zum zweiten Haus ist schön frech! Terrasse bzw Garten eher lieblos, ungepflegt. Der sogenannte Parkplatz ist nur für kleine Autos (Smart, Fiesta, Fiat 500 o.ä.) zu empfehlen. Er ist uneben und steil. Haben mit unserem Kombi mit dem Unterboden aufgesetzt. Ein Fall für die Werkstatt! Fazit: Kann man schon buchen wenn man die Nachteile kennt und sie einem nichts ausmachen. Für den Preis könnte der Besitzer aber mal investieren!
