Cancellation policy
The lessee may cancel the booking before the start date of the trip. The cancellation must be made in writing and shall become effective once it is received by the lessor. In case of a cancellation or no-show for reasons beyond the lessor's control, the lessor is entitled to be adequately reimbursed for expenses incurred. Any normally saved expenses
as well as a potential re-letting of the accommodation will be taken into consideration. The following flat rate cancellation fees in favour of the lessor apply:
up to 60 days prior to arrival: 20% of the rental price,
59-35 days prior to arrival: 50% of the rental price,
34 days-1 day prior to arrival: 80% of the rental price,
on the day of arrival or in case of a no-show: 90% of the rental price.
In case of early departure, the rental price will not be refunded. The aforementioned cancellation fees are due immediately. We recommend that you take out travel insurance. Up until the start of the rental period, the lessee is entitled to transfer the rights and obligations under the rental contract to a third party/new lessee. The owner/lessor needs to be notified about this. However, we -the owners- reserve the right to object to the transfer if we find an important reason why the new lessee is not a good fit. The original lessee and the substitute lessee are jointly and severally liable for the rental price.

The Kapitänshaus is situated in the picturesque health resort Wieck on the Darß, surrounded by meadows and forests in the "Western Pomeranian Lagoon Area National Park". The Bodden is only 150m away; the Baltic beaches in the west and north of the peninsula can be easily reached by bicycle.
Getting there
Travelling by car: Autobahn A19, exit no. 6 Rostock-Ost (east), continue on the B105 towards Ribnitz-Damgarten, Stralsund, turn-off Altheide towards Fischland-Darß-Prerow.
GPS: Bliesenrader Weg 1, 18375 Wieck am Darß
By train and bus: Take the train to Ribnitz-Damgarten-West (IC train stop); take the bus & get off in Wieck-Ost (Prerowerstr.), walk 400m and you've reached your holiday residence.
By plane: Rostock-Laage Airport (RLG); take the shuttle bus to Wieck.

Wir hatten mit der ganzen Familie und Freunden eine sehr schöne Zeit im Kapitänshaus. Es ist mit Liebe zum Detail saniert. Mit den bereitstehenden Fahrrädern haben wir den hübschen kleinen Ort und des etwas entfernt liegende Prerow erkundet. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt super und für den entspannten Aufenthalt von mehreren Personen unterschiedlichen Alters wunderbar geeignet. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend - sowohl der Küche als auch sonst, von Hängematten bis Fahrradtaschen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
