Holiday destination

Forcalquier features a Monday market that's known throughout the region, a cathedral from the 12th century, Renaissance fountains, buildings from the 12th century, and a citadel at the top of the settlement with a carillon where you can enjoy an impressive 360-degree view. Roman churches, typical Provençal villages and medieval towns can be found in and around Forcalquier.

Getting there

The A 51 motorway (Marseille-Aix en Provence-Gap) runs approx. 11 km east of Forcalquier, take the Forcalquier - La Brillane exit. Marseille Marignane airport is around 1 hour and 10 minutes' drive away. The TGV stations in Aix-en-Provence and Avignon can be reached in approx. 1 hour by car. There's a regional rail service that connects the Saint Charles main railway station in Marseille with La Brillane. La Brillane is around 10 minutes' drive away. There are also bus routes that run from Marseille airport and the Aix-en-Provence TGV station to the centre of Forcalquier.

Das Haus auf einem großen sehr begrünten Grundstück liegt idyllisch. Die Räume sind gemütlich eingerichtet, das gesamte Ambiente hat einen hohen Wohlfühlfaktor. Der Pool ist nicht einsehbar, Nachbarn hört man, sieht man aber nicht.

In einem typischen Ort der Provence, ein Haus zweckmäßig und sehr gemütlich renoviert, eine Terasse mit schönstem Ausblick in einem alteingewachsenen Garten mit Schwimmingpool und ein von unseren Gästen sehr geschätztes Gartenhaus mit Schlafraum und Bad ......kurz : tauglich für einen Traumurlaub. Wir haben`s in bester Erinnerung und werden in diesem Jahr zur Lavendelblühtezeit wiederkommen.
