Other recreational opportunities
We are sailors ourselves and are happy about water sport-interested guests. Smaller sports equipment (dinghies, dinghies, canoes, SUP, surfboards) can be brought to the beach next to the small marina of Ulsnis. After consultation, you can park the trailer on our property.
For larger boats, we are happy to help find a slip, a crane or a shipyard.
The water sports club Ulsnis does not have places for guest boaters. But we like to ask if someone is on a trip and his place can be used.
Holiday destination
Ulsnis is a small village on the fjord Schlei that goes into the Baltic Sea. Our house is located on a quiet side street (dead end), which leads directly to the water. It is only a few minutes walk (240 m) to a small sandy beach and the jetty of Ulsnis. There small boats can be brought into the water. In the area there is a dense network of cycling and hiking trails, in the neighboring village (Goltoft) a canoe rental.
The tourist region Schlei Nature Park is also attractive in terms of cultural offerings: Haitabu open-air museum, Gottorf Castle, village museums, Viking days, music events.

Das Haus ist hochwertig ausgestattet. Besonders gut hat uns der Küchenbereich gefallen. Wir haben hier gebacken, gekocht und gewerkelt für 10 Personen. Es fehlte an nichts.
Von der Küchenmaschine bis zur XBox, von der Fahrradluftpumpe bis zum Gesellschaftsspiel - alles war vorhanden. Und sollte dennoch (theoretisch oder nach exotischen Wünschen) etwas fehlen, sind die liebenswürdigen Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht, Alles und Allen Recht zu machen. Wer das ganze Haus inkl. dem Appartement im Obergeschoss dazumietet, kommt gut mit einer Großfamilie unter und kann hier einen super Urlaub verbringen. Wir waren sehr angetan und haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt.
Freundlicher Empfang und viele gute Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung, zum Essen gehen und auf Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
