Holiday destination
The cottage is situated in the hilly country landscape Uckermark in the north of Berlin. In summer time you may ride your bike, go swimming or paddling in one of the numerous lakes in the area. Renting agencies can be found. In autumn you may be attracted by long distance walks in the rural landscape, presenting altering impressions of dense forests and the extensive landscape. For cultural demands you may go for a day trop to Berlin, Stettin or the Baltic See.
Getting there
You find our cottage in the south of Prenzlau, via country road B109 you enter the village and find the building on the left hand side right after passing the pond on the right hand side.

Wohin geht‘s im Urlaub? Nach Groß Sperrenwalde. Äh … wohin??? Ja, es geht in die Nordwestuckermark nach Groß Sperrenwalde ins Schnitterhaus. So schön ist es anzusehen auf der Website.
Und Leute, wir haben etwas gefunden, das toppt alle Erwartungen.
Was für ein Empfang, was für ein Haus und was für ein Garten, eher ein Park.
Das Haus hat Atmosphäre und Stiel. Geradliniges erfrischendes Design ohne Schnickschnack, eine gelungene Symbiose aus Modern, Retroakzenten und Eigenbauten. Es gibt keinen Fernseher, wir haben auch keinen vermisst. Stattdessen kann man in den reichlich vorhandenen Büchern schmökern oder Musik hören.
Die Küche + Ausstattung sind ein Traum, das haben wir selten so perfekt vorgefunden. Es gibt auch schöne Schlafräume mit super Betten, so richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Man konnte getrost auf sein eigenes mitgeführtes Kissen verzichten.
An das Haus schließt sich der weitläufige Garten, gegliedert in Bereiche und mit diversen Sitzmöglichkeiten, an. Eine wunderbare Gestaltung, ländlich, luftig und leicht mit Flair. Einfach hineinsetzen, die Schönheit auf sich wirken lassen und ab und an den Blickwinkel ändern.
Die Hühnerschar und die Ententruppe fügen sich gut in das Arrangement ein. Und dann ist da noch der Hund, der ein wachsames Auge auf Alles hat.
Die Entlein konnten wir vom Frühstückstisch bei der Futtersuche auf dem Rasen vor der Terrasse beobachten. Lustig, wenn der ganze Trupp morgens um die Ecke bog und geschäftig ausschwärmte.
Es gab für uns nicht nur nette Gespräch mit Marc sondern auch die ersten Eier der Junghühner und Marmelade / Honig aus eigener Produktion.
Wir haben die Umgebung erkundet. Alleen im Indian Summer Look, hüglige Endmoränen Landschaft mit viel Weite. Hübsche Dörfer, Städtchen und viele Seen. Unter anderem haben wir in Boitzenburg die MoccaMilchEisbar gefunden. Dort gab es Kreationen wie Gartenpfirsich und Pflaume. Lecker, haben wir noch nirgendwo gesehen.
Resümee: Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Schnitterhaus und wünschen den Betreibern Marc und Tim noch viele nette Gäste. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft und beste Grüße von Biene, Martina, Schulli und Petra.

Das ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit einem traumhaft schönen Garten.
Hier fehlt es an nichts. Supertolle Küche, alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles top.
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Man kann dieses Haus vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen.
