Located in the Ria Formosa nature reserve, 90 meters from the lagoon and 200 meters from the 12 km long island beach, which can only be reached by small shuttle boats from the fishing village of Cabanas
The beach is about 300 m wide, fine sand, gently sloping, dunes. Toilets and freshwater showers available. From the limestone cliff coast there is a wonderful view of the lagoon, suitable for walks along the unspoilt local beach to the next village of Fabrica, about 1 hour's walk.
Cabanas has many cafes and countless restaurants, a small market, post office, supermarkets and a bank.
Daily bus between Cabanas and Tavira. Railstation of Conceicao 1,5km. Airport FARO 30km, spanish border 25 km and 150 km to Seville. Rent a car on site.

Wir verbrachten 14 Tage hier und hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem schönen Haus und dem traumhaften Garten. Man vergisst den Alltag und kann wunderbar entspannen. Frühstück unter der Palme und lauschige Abende mit dem Duft des Jasmins im Hintergrund - herrlich. Wir haben sowohl selbst gekocht als auch Restaurants in der näheren oder weiteren Umgebung besucht - beides hatte seine Reize. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man ist sehr schnell in Tavira zum Einkaufen oder Bummeln und auch Olhão oder Faro sind schnell zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
