The house is off a quiet road in a village location not far from the village church. The village of St. Nicolas-de-Pierrepont is part of the "parc naturel de cotentin" and has Manche's tallest hill Mont Colquin (also know as Mont Doville) within easy walking distance with a wealth of walking trails, birds and rare flora and fauna. The local town of La Haye du Puits is a 5 minute drive away with a good selection of supermarkets, shops and restaurants, if you are a fan of French street markets there is one every day within easy driving distance.

Host informationI moved to France in 1987 from Gloucestershire in the UK and have had a connection to St. Nicolas-de-Pierrepont through my wife's family, it is such a beautiful area with it's unspoilt coastline and national parks that when I had th opportunity to purchase and restore a traditional stone building I had to give it a go! I hope you will agree that the local craftsmen have made a real success of bringing the building back to life and I hope you enjoy staying there as I did renovating it!

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten somit jede Menge Platz!
Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel und liegt sehr ruhig mit viel Natur drumherum.
Leider funktionierte der Fernseher nicht... und das zur Weltmeisterschaft ;-)! Der Vermieter als auch der Verwalter waren sehr bemüht, doch vergeblich.
Bitte unbedingt Schränke für die Schlafzimmer organisieren!!!
... und kleine Löffel.
Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und durften sogar den Wein im Wohnzimmer kostenlos trinken!

Tolles frisch renoviertes Haus, großzügiger Wohnbereich und Essbereich, große Schlafzimmer ( nur ein oder zwei Schränke mehr wären gut), neue Bäder, Waschküche perfekt für Familien, das angrenzende Feld mit Bach, Wiese und Teich ist super für Kinder, der Gartenbereich großzügig zum Grillen und Entspannen, tolle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und vor Ort mit dem Hausbetreuer, in 10 Minuten am Strand, in 5 Minuten im Supermarkt, eine wunderschöne Gegend für Ausflüge aber auch zum Wandern . Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt!
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
