It offers an inspiring environment for discovering by bike, canoe, stand-up paddleboard, rowing boat, sailing boat, motorboat or houseboat. In Werder itself, hospitality is a top priority. Old orchards, smokehouses and restaurants on and around the island of Werder provide a lively and vibrant holiday atmosphere.
Getting there
You can get to Werder by car via the A10 motorway and it takes between 45 and 60 minutes from BER airport. Take the train to Ostbahnhof or Hauptbahnhof in Berlin and change to the regional train RE1 to Werder. This will take you between 1 hour and 1 hour and 15 minutes.
From Werder, you can easily travel to Berlin or Potsdam on the RE1 regional train. The regional train runs every 20 minutes and takes 35 minutes to Berlin Zoologischer Garten and 10 minutes to Potsdam.

We are from South Africa and discovered this delightful holiday home whilst on a short break in Berlin. Everything about this house was perfect: the charming décor, the garden and the belvedere by the river. We sat under an open-air chandelier by the river and watched the swans and ducks whilst enjoying a glass of wine and some nibbles. We cycled to the magnificent city of Potsdam and in the wine bar on the Werder vineyard. It was still warm enough to take a trip down the River Havel by SUB and canoe. We have been in a lot of holiday homes, but this one is definitely the cherry on the top. We will come back.

Wat een bijzondere plek! Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Werder bij Potsdam. Het prachtige gastenhuis is een architectonische parel, rustig gelegen midden in de natuur , met een prachtige keuken en een unieke slaapkamer met uitzicht over het water en het groen en een klein privé strandje aan de Havel.
De gastgevers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en attent. De omgeving is heel afwisselend met volop fietsmogelijkheden, kastelen, koninklijke tuinen en zelfs een wijngaard op loopafstand.
Een heerlijke plek, dichtbij Potsdam en Berlijn.
Een plek om tot rust te komen en tegelijkertijd veel te ontdekken. Wij komen graag terug en kunnen deze accommodatie van harte aanbevelen!
