Cancellation policy
§ 4 Cancellation and Early Termination
If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions and if re-renting is not possible, the deposit will be retained and the following pro-rata rents will be charged as compensation:
Cancellation:
- up to 90 days before the start of the rental: 30% of the rental price
- up to 60 days before the start of the rental: 55% of the rental price
- up to 30 days before the start of the rental: 75% of the rental price
- from 29 days before the start of the rental: 100% of the rental price
- in case of no-show without cancellation: 100% of the rental price
The landlord will make an effort to re-rent the property.
The tenant can at any time prove that the landlord incurred less damage.
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The decisive factor is the date on which the landlord receives the statement.
In the event of cancellation before the start of the rental, a processing fee of 100 € will be charged in any case, which may be offset against the deposit.
It is strongly recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.
