A large selection of walks and hikes from Merindol and further afield in the Alpilles, Mount Sainte Victoire, the Camargue and the creeks of Cassis. Bike and mountain bike routes: The village is situated on the 236km long Véloroute (bike route). 6 golf courses within 40 kms of the gîte; of which the Mallemort Pont Royal golf course is the nearest (7 km).

Holiday destination

The cottages are situated in a quiet area, but only a kilometre away from the centre of Mérindol, a charming village with all local amenities in the heart of Provence (5 restaurants, 3 bakeries...). The village is ideally located in Luberon’s regional natural park and is close to several other villages and recognised natural sites. It is also less than an hour away from the Mediterranean Coast.

Das Häuschen und die Terrasse sind einfach traumhaft. Wir haben den ruhigen Außenbereich mit Pool sowie den Whirlpool sehr genossen. Die Lage eignet sich gut, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Merci à Arnaud et Dorothée

Sehr sehr schöne Anlage, wunderbar weitläufig. Wer Ruhe sucht , ist hier richtig. Die Gastgeber wohnen nebenan , sind aber sehr freundlich , unaufdringlich und hilfsbereit, sprechen perfekt Englisch. Der Pool ist groß und man teilt ihn nur mit einer Partei. Einzig kleiner Abzug ist der Kohlegrill, das weitere Vermietungsobjekt hat einen Gasgrill. In ca einer Stunde sind von hier Aix oder Avignon und Kleine Dörfer wie Gordes / Bonnieux (45min) oder Lourmarin (20min)erreichbar. Für Rennradsportler : sehr schöne Tour bis zum Mont Ventoux in knapp 90km. Strand ( Cote bleue oder Carmargue ) in 1-1,5h. Merindol ist Flussläufig zu erreichen. Dort gibt es einige empfehlenswerte Restaurants. Whirlpool haben wir nicht benutzt. War einfach nicht die Saison dafür. Sehr schöne zwei Wochen hier verbracht.
