Address for GPS: Marina am Stau, Am Stau 3, 23568 Lübeck
From Hamburg: A1 at Bad Schwartau on A 226 towards Travemünde, after 3 km turn towards Lübeck/Schlutup. Through the Herrentunnel (toll currently 1.70 EUR), immediately after the tunnel (but before the toll booth) turn right to the Marina am Stau.
From Lübeck: towards Travemünde (Travemünder Allee) behind the toll booth of the Herrentunnel, turn right to Marina am Stau. At the toll terminal, enter the destination "Herreninsel". The island ticket is free from the direction of Lübeck.

I love life on the water and have a weakness for boats. For many years I canoed on the wild water rivers of the Alps.
Living on the water is wonderful, that's why I love houseboats.

Die Lage unmittelbar an der Fahrrinne der "dicken Pötte" sucht ihresgleichen. Die Marina ohne Schickimicki kam unserem Geschmack entgegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nahebei.
Das Hausboot ist komplett ausgestattet, uns hat nichts gefehlt.

Auch auf die Gefahr hin mich zu wiederholen, es war wieder mal ein Traum. Selbst bei diesem "bescheidenem" Wetter ist es toll ein paar Tage auf dem Hausboot verbringen zu dürfen. Alles war mal wieder perfekt vorbereitet und so fühlte man sich von der ersten Minuten an wohl.
Wir werden immer wieder Tage finden, an denen wir Gast auf eines der beiden Boote sein werden.
