The Stadtdenkmal Glückstadt, founded in 1617 by the Danish king Christian IV, is located directly on the lower Elbe. The historic city center and the extensive harbor area invite you to stroll, the range of restaurants and cafes is varied.
The house is located on the beachfront of Glückstadt (about 1.5km to the center) with an unobstructed, beautiful view over the march. The large Elbe beach is nearby. The metropolis of Hamburg can be reached by car and train in 30 minutes very well.
Getting there
From the north
- From Husum, take the B 5 south, which becomes the A 23 at Heide - turn left after the Hohenfelde exit - via Steinburg and Krempe directly to Glückstadt.
- Coming from Flensburg, take the A 7 in the direction of Hamburg.
take the Neumünster Mitte exit - follow the B 430 to Hohenwested - turn left onto the B 77 towards Itzehoe - then follow the signs through Itzehoe via Neuenbrook and Krempe to Glückstadt.
From the south
- from Hamburg on the A 7 towards Flensburg - at Dreieck Nordwest change to the A 23 towards Heide/ Husum - exit at Elmshorn or Hohenfelde and follow the signs to Glückstadt.
- From Bremen via the A 1 - then B 495 to Wischhafen/Elbfähre.

Schönes, großes Haus mit einem weitläufigen Garten, der an ein schönes (Angel-)Gewässer mit Holzterrasse grenzt. Zum Glück hatten wir Fahrräder dabei, das Auto brauchten wir nur für den Einkauf. Gut ausgestattete Küche: herrliche Betten, so viel Platz! Wir haben uns mit Radfahren, Angeln und Tischfußball vergnügt!! Sehr schön! Schöne Radwege, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wiebke ist eine sehr engagierte Vermieterin und sehr gut erreichbar. Bei unserer Ankunft standen frisches Obst und Getränke bereit. Wir haben unsere Woche sehr genossen.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wiebke ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin, es gab einen lieben Willkommen Gruß für die 2 und 4 Beiner.
Die Betten sind sehr bequem, auch auf dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer lässt es sich prima schlafen. In der Küche war alles vorhanden.
Der perfekte Ort für große und kleine Ausflüge. Wir lieben den Elbstrand, an dem auch die Hunde ihre Freude hatten. Am Haus startet ein Weg direkt durch die Felder und am Fluss vorbei. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder :-)
