Holiday destination
The mountain village of Scheffau is located at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser and is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, and cycling tours. A swim in the nearby Hintersteinersee, one of the cleanest mountain lakes in Tyrol, promises pure refreshment!
In winter, you find yourself in Austria's largest connected ski area (Kitzbühel Alps, with over 90 lifts).
Ski tourers, cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers, tobogganists, or winter hikers will also get their money's worth.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at Kufstein Süd, head towards St. Johann, and after about 15 km turn left (signposted Scheffau).

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und einem Kind im Sommerurlaub. Neben der fantastisch guten Umgebung und dem guten Sommerwetter war es vor allem die wunderbare Ferienwohnung, die unseren Urlaub unvergesslich machen. Danke auch an unsere zuvorkommend und herzliche Gastgeberfamilie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
