Wir haben im August 2021 einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt in einem der separaten Häuser der Pension Alpenrose auf der Turacher Höhe verlebt. Einmal das Abendmenü in der 20m entfernten Pension genossen, waren wir dem Gaumenschmaus des Küchenchefs Peter verfallen und haben uns bis auf wenige Tage mit den köstlichen (österreichischen) Speisen verwöhnen lassen, die fast ausschließlich aus regionalen Produkten zubereitet waren. Die Speisen waren auch für das Auge eine wahre Wonne, man konnte nicht nur schmecken sondern auch sehen, dass Koch Peter, zusammen mit seiner Frau Susi (gleichzeitig die Pensionsinhaber) ihre Leidenschaft leben, um ihren Gästen mit viel Herz einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Für uns zu dritt mit unserem 17-jährigen Sohn war es eine prima Kombination, im separaten Häuschen mit zwei Schlafzimmern und Wohnküche zu wohnen und somit unabhängig vom Pensionsbetrieb zu sein und trotzdem wahlweise den Luxus der excellenten Küche (Frühstücksbuffet, Mittagskarte a la carte, Abendmenü) der Alpenrose direkt nebenan zu haben und all das in wunderschöner Landschaft. Für uns perfekt! Wir bedanken uns für Susis und Peters Herzlichkeit und einen rundum tollen Urlaub. Herzliche Grüße von den Gibrons
