Wir haben uns im Vecchio Borgo sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein schönes Haus in einem kleinen Dorf, das sogar ein sehr gutes Restaurant hat. Leider konnten wir dort nur zweimal essen, weil anschlieÃ_x009f_end Betriebsferien waren. Dafür kann Mario aber nichts, der ein sehr guter, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber ist. Er hat uns persönlich mit allerhand Ausflugstipps versorgt und die Kommunikation lief sehr unkompliziert. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir wählten diesen Agriturismo als Ausgangspunkt für unseren neuntägigen Aufenthalt, um die Region von Bologna über Mailand bis zur Adria zu erkunden. Unser Gastgeber Mario war ein echter Glücksgriff. Er empfing uns bei unserer Ankunft in Montebabbio, zeigte uns die Unterkunft und erzählte uns, dass seine Familie seit 500 Jahren in der Gegend lebt. Er meldete sich noch zweimal, um sich nach unserem Wohlbefinden zu erkundigen. Er empfahl uns zwei der besten Restaurants der Region, von denen wir eines ohne seine Empfehlung wohl nie entdeckt hätten. Gerne schickte er uns auch Links zu lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten, darunter eine Käserei, die exzellenten Parmigiano Reggiano herstellt. Die beiden Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss verfügen jeweils über ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und hell, die Betten komfortabel und es gibt einen groÃ_x009f_en Kleiderschrank mit Regalen. Warmwasser mit ausreichend Druck ist vorhanden. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Im Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss gibt es nur ein kleines Sofa, daher mussten die Küchenstühle sowohl zum Sitzen als auch zum Essen benutzt werden. Die Küchenstühle sind sehr hart, daher empfehlen wir Sitzkissen. Es gibt keine Waschmaschine und Trockner. Wir genossen unsere Abende drauÃ_x009f_en am groÃ_x009f_en Picknicktisch mit Bänken, Cocktails und kleinen Häppchen und beobachteten den Sonnenuntergang über der herrlichen Landschaft. Parkplätze waren nie ein Problem, da es nur 15 Meter entfernt weitere Parkmöglichkeiten gab. Würden wir wieder hier übernachten? Auf jeden Fall!
