Holiday destination
Our holiday home "Meeresbraut" is located in the north of the island of Rügen, in a family holiday home settlement, only five minutes by foot from the Baltic sea beach. It is in the protected area of the dune forest. The whole area is very well maintained and built to very high standards. Glowe is a great base for lovely walks along the bodden. The Schaabe offers plenty of room to relax with 12 km of sandy beaches. In the village there are restaurants and shops.
Getting there
You arrive via the A20. Stralsund junction and then continue on to the new Rügen bridge (leaves your cares on the mainland, your holiday begins here), then onto the B96 to Bergen. Continue straight toward Sassnitz. Just before Sassnitz turn left toward Glowe, Altenkirchen, Drankse. After a few kilometres you will reach Glowe. Our property manager can be found right on the high street corner Am Kurpark 1.

Das Haus hat 6 Schlafplätze das reicht für 6 Mädels. Alles im Haus vorhanden, wenn mal keinen Lust auf Restaurant hat. Die Sauna bietet 2 Plätze und im rotierenden Saunieren macht es Spaß dazwischen sich auszutauschen. Die Wiese ist phantastisch zum Barfuß laufen nach der Sauna. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Im Dünenwald war es sehr ruhig. Zum Strand sind es nur 5-10 min zu Fuß. Einkaufen ist im Ort möglich. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern.

Das Ferienhaus ist sauber und gepflegt, die Lage wunderschön und ruhig. Sehr aufmerksamer Empfang (Sekt/Schokolade)! Vermisst haben wir: Mückenschutz an Terassentür, sep. Radio im Wohnzimmer, mehr Küchenausstattung (u. a. Rotweingläser, scharfe Messer). Leider war auch fast alles Glas blind (Trinkgläser, Topfdeckel, Glasschüsseln) und der Wasserkocher verkalkt/undicht. Gewöhnungsbedürftige Lichtsteuerung über Bewegungsmelder (Flure, Bäder). Mähroboter im Garten fährt leider nachts, als Igelfreunde ein No-Go._x000D_
Bettwäsche/Handtücher über Hausverwaltung: der „Krankenhausstyle“ war nicht unserer - ansonsten aber top HV!_x000D_
Früherer Bezug ins Haus, bei Problemen (Smart Home-Tablet funktionierte nicht) wurde unverzüglich geholfen._x000D_
Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub genossen!
