Holiday destination

Car: not necessary. Important information in advance for the period from November 2 to December 12, 24: The house facade at the location is scaffolded. Everything inside is okay. The windows can be opened, the roof terrace can be used freely. For this period there is a 10 % special discount on the daily rates. (see in the calendar days) In the middle of the Centro storico on the Piazza di Spagna, 20 metres from the Spanish Steps in a peaceful pedestrian zone. Lots of art, museums, Rome's most elegant shopping streets (e.g. the Via dei Condotti), eateries of every imaginable kind and supermarkets are located all around the accommodation. Five minutes' walk or two minutes' jog to the magnificent Villa Borghese city park and to the Trevi fountain - both are also great attractions for children. Two minutes to the metro and three minutes to various bus stops. Three metro stops away from St. Peter's Basilica, three stops away from Termini central station, 15 minutes' walk to the Colosseum. Good connections to Ciampino and Fiumincino airports. Bike rentals and a taxi rank nearby. Cute cafés and restaurants on historic squares and near tourist attractions. The weather's usually fantastic - there are few rainy days. Christmas and New Year's are very diverse in Rome. You'll find big sales offering large discounts in luxury boutiques from around the 10th of July and the 5th of January, both lasting for several weeks.

Getting there

Plane, train, metro, bus, taxi. You can drive to the property, but you will have to park your car in the multi-storey car park afterwards. The apartment is located in the pedestrian zone in the historic centre of Rome.

Beste Unterkunft, traumhafter Empfang. Wohnung in traumhafter Lage. Alles sauber und die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet. Schöner kann ein Aufenthalt in Rom nicht sein. Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Spanische Treppe, den Petersdom, den Vaterlands Altar und die Immaculata Säule bleiben in traumhafter Erinnerung. Die Gastgeberin Krista Langen Peduto hat uns wertvolle Tipps inkl. besten Lokalen gegeben. Besser geht es nicht. Ein Geheimtipp. Roma tibi subito motibus ibit amor.

Wir sind zu fünft mit dem Auto aus RLP angereist (wir Eltern, drei Söhne im Alter von 19,17 und 13 Jahren) und sind direkt sehr gastfreundlich aufgenommen und mit Tipps von Fr. Langen-Peduto für die Urlaubsgestaltung "versorgt" worden. Wobei man direkt bei der Besonderheit der Wohnung und der Kommunikation mit Fr. Langen-Peduto ist: wir haben und unheimlich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und umfassend. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und Fr. Langen-Peduto war jederzeit erreichbar. Vielen Dank dafür! Und vielen Dank an Herrn Peduto für die grüne Oase auf dem Dach. Die Wohnung ist mitten im Zentrum, wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen und auch so "noch mal kurz los" ohne lange Fahrt mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr.
