You can reach Prerow via the B 105, Löbnitz junction, then towards Barth or Altheide junction, then via the Bäderstraße. Prerow is very centrally located and offers a lot of excursion options in addition to the white sandy beach: Maritime Museum, Ozeaneum, "Hanse Dom" leisure pool in Stralsund, Marlow bird park.
In spring and autumn you can always see the cranes.
