Holiday destination
Zaostrog has a really long history consedirng the archaeological findings like the relief of the God Mitra and writings by Byzantine emperor Konstantin Porfirogenet about the fortification Ostrog, situated highly below the mount after which Zaostrog later got its name. During the years, Zaostrog became a desirable vacation spot due to its geographic location, clean sea and beautiful pebble beaches. The most recognisable feature of Zaostrog is an old Franciscan monastery- also a museum with ethnological collection and a library.
Zaostrog is a preserved, littoral, almost untouched area which offers a quiet holiday far away from the burdening modern life- in other words it's an ideal location to explore Dalmatia as it once was.

Dieses Ferienhaus ist einfach wunderbar. Das war einer der schönsten Urlaube, welchen wir je erlebt haben. Ausstattung, Lage, Pool - alles super! Josip, der Vermieter, ein Juwel! Sein Restaurant am Meer unbedingt zu empfehlen.
