The holiday home is located in the Ballumer Dunes, a peaceful holiday area, featuring a large public outdoor swimming pool just 200 meters away.
The historical site is just a 5-minute walk, and the elegant Ballum beach pavilion can be reached in 10 minutes.
Whether it's skydiving, horseback riding, or golfing, you're just 10 minutes away from your activity.
Ballum is situated in the middle of the island, where things are calm and relaxed.
Getting there
If you are coming from the Ruhr area, towards Oberhausen, Arnhem.
Then take the motorway to Zwolle, Heerenveen, Leeuwarden.
20 minutes on the country road to Holwerd, then take the ferry.
You can also park your car on the mainland.
Be sure to reserve the ferry.
The crossing takes about 45 minutes.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, hell, geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist gehoben und sehr großzügig, es fehlt an nichts und wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ein schöner Garten, vollständig eingezäunt, mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten runden das ganze ab.
Die Lage ist perfekt. Wald und Dünen sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, der Strand ist über einen wunderschönen Dünenpfad zu erreichen. In Ballum ist man zu Fuß in nur wenigen Minuten, Nes und Hollum sind schnell mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Das Auto kann den ganzen Urlaub getrost stehen bleiben.
Wir hatten einen absolut perfekten Urlaub.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus, das schön ruhig gelegen ist. Ein Schwimmbad ist in der Nähe. Der Sparmarkt in Ballum (Spar, der alles bietet was man braucht) ist in 10 Minuten für Einkäufe zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet. Es gibt auch mehrere Grills (u.a. auch ein guter Weber Elektrogrill !). Die Ausstattung ist ja in der Beschreibung exakt dargestellt, die Besitzer sind extrem in Ordnung. Hier noch ein paar Tipps für Ameland: Vermeiden Sie den großen Jumbomarkt in Nes an einem Montagmorgen- Caos. Die Strandbude in Ballum ist Montags- Dienstags (wegen Reichtums?) geschlossen. Auf Ameland gibt es strandnah und auch unweit der Ortskerne überall kostenfreie Parkplätze. Mit Hund ist Ameland ein Traum - insbesondere am Strand von Nes bis Buren. Die Getränkepreise sind hoch.
