The cozy, well-furnished holiday home is located in an absolutely quiet hillside position below the village of Brezzo di Bedero at the end of a private cul-de-sac with no through traffic. In Brezzo di Bedero, you will find the collegiate church of San Vittore from the 12th century, which is one of the most significant Romanesque buildings in the region. It's a good 15-minute walk to the village. The lake with swimming opportunities is also within a 10-minute walk. For many years, the music festival "Stagione Musicale della Canonica" has been taking place from July to September.
Just 5 km away from Brezzo is Luino, the largest town on the Lombard shore. Famous throughout the whole of Lake Maggiore is the centuries-old Wednesday market, which is one of the largest in Northern Italy. In Luino, you will find excellent shopping opportunities (Coop and Carrefour supermarkets with a great selection, open 7 days a week) as well as various restaurants and street cafes.
The lake and mountains offer a wide range of sports activities: fishing, golf, canoeing, climbing, cycling, swimming, sailing, diving, hiking, windsurfing.

Bereits zum vierten Male haben wir unsere Ferien in der Casa Donizetti verbracht und sind wieder total begeistert.
Der herrliche Ausblick zieht einem einfach in seinen Bann und bei der super Ausstattung des Hauses fehlt es an nichts.
Das Badezimmer wurde neu gestaltet und zeigt, dass Familie Hauser-Locher sich immer sehr um das Anwesen kümmert und dafür sorgt, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen.
Herzlichen Dank dafür. Wir kommen sicher einmal wieder.
