Cancellation policy
Cancellation - Rescission of the accommodation agreement
Booking a holiday accommodation is often done with a phone call or a mouse click. However, the fact that this concludes a contract that is binding for both sides becomes clear to many only in the event of non-compliance. It happens not seldom that the guests for a variety of reasons do not start the booked holiday or cancel it early. There are the Austrian Hotel Regulations (ÖHVB) that describe any compensation payments in the event of a cancellation.
The following guidelines in the event of cancellation provide for these regulations in a simplified and summarized form:
- no later than 3 months prior to arrival: no cancellation fee
- 3 to 1 month (s) prior to arrival: cancellation fee equal to a three-day stay
- 30 or fewer days prior to arrival or non-utilisation of the booked holiday: full payment of the agreed fee
Besides: During this period, we rent the reserved capacities to another guest!
