Cuxhaven has all of the infrastructure of a modern seaside town. You'll never be bored with the varied cultural and sports program.
A walk through the mud flats or a drive with the Wadden coach will take you to the island of Neuwerk. The Wappen-von-Hamburg await you in the harbour for a trip to Helgoland.
Holiday destination
The house is situated in the 1st row that faces the long sandy beach and the Wadden Sea. Quiet but central location.
Duhnen's Thalassozentrum "ahoi" (pools, sauna, spa), shops restaurants and bars are easy to reach.
The stop for the Dünenbahn (tram) is right in front the house.
Well-developed bike paths run past the apartment and along the coast - all the way to the district/city of Cuxhaven.
Duhnen's tourist centre, the spa resorts Sahlenburg and Döse as well as Cuxhaven's city centre are also located in the vicinity.
Getting there
Vehicles can reach the holiday resort in the west of Duhnen only via the Georg-Wolgast-Weg / Carl-Vinnen-Weg.
The following streets are affected: Dünenweg,
Häfchenweg, Kampweg, Satelsrönne, Am Ringwall, Christian-Brütt-Weg.
The access road to the water park/spa "ahoi!" is the Cuxhavener Str. / Wehrbergsweg.
All barriers in Duhnen can be passed by cyclists.

Die kleine Penthousewohnung wurde von mir für 3 Freunde angemietet. Die Wohnung ist in einen tadellosen Zustand, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Vom Sofa aus kann man ganz entspannt auf die Salzwiesen in Richtung Neuwerk schauen und der Balkon bietet ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen.
Ich werde diese Wohnung oder ggf. die große Penthousewohnung wieder buchen. Zur Wohnung selber gehören 2 PkW Stellplätze, direkt vor dem Haus.
Ruhige Lage, so gut wie keine PkW-Verkehr.

Die Penthauswohnung liegt direkt am Deich mit super Blick auf das Wattenmeer bis nach Neuwerk.
Der Vermieter hat uns Saft und Wasser auf den Tisch gestellt. Sehr nett.
Die Ausstattung war komplett und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das einzige was wirklich gestört hat waren die Mücken und Fliegen die bei geöffneter Terassentür zu Massen reinkamen. Da wäre eine Fliegengittertür angebracht. Und bei dem schönen Wetter was wir hatten, muss man auch mal die Tür öffnen. Bei der Größe der Duschkabine wäre ein Regenduschkopf empfehlenswert.
Alles Andere war super. Vielen Dank.
