Cancellation policy
If a reservation is canceled, cancellation fees will be charged. In case of a cancellation the costs will be calculated as follows:
- 15% of the total amount for cancellation up to 56 days prior to arrival
- 30% of the travel sum for cancellations from 56 to 42 days prior to arrival;
- 60% of the travel sum for cancellations from 42 to 28 days prior to arrival;
- 90% of the travel sum if canceled 28 to 14 days before arrival
- 100% of the travel sum for cancellations from 14 to the day of arrival, later or when not appearing.

Holiday destination
Holiday house Marrit is located in the Ballumer Dunes, a quiet holiday area. In the surroundings you will find a large, public outdoor swimming pool, playground and trampoline (distance of 400 m).
The historic town is only a 5-minute walk away, and the elegant beach pavilion of Ballum can be reached in 10 minutes. Skydiving or horse riding it is only a 2-minute walk.
Ballum is located in the middle of the island, it is quiet and comfortable and has nice restaurants.
Getting there
From the direction Leeuwarden it a 20 minutes drive to Holwerd. In Holwerd you have to take the ferry to the island. You can park the car on the mainland or bring your care with you to the island (reservation required). The crossing takes about 50 minutes.
On the island Ameland there is a bus to Ballum (direction Camping Roosdunen). Get off at the airport. Holiday house Marrit is a 1-minute walk away.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub, die Insel ist sehr schön. Die Unterkunft hat uns gefallen, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Die Sauna haben wir nicht genutzt. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gern wieder.
