Holiday destination

Outings to Hamburg and Jork. The Elbe cycling trail on the dike opposite the holiday village "Altes Land". The Elb beach is just a few metres away. Ferries to Hamburg and other destinations depart from the nearby Lühe jetty. To the apple and cherry blossom excursions are worthwhile in the Alte Land, which can be explored well by bicycle. In Stade, Jork and Buxtehude you can visit old churches, museums and attend organ concerts. The International Music Festival with classical music has been held in August for years. And then you can see the big ships passing by the Elbe dike and take a swim in the Elbe.

Wir waren mit der Sauberkeit im Haus sehr zufrieden. Für große Leute (190cm) sind die Betten sehr gut geeignet. Man muss sich an die enge Treppe zu dem Dachgeschoß erst gewöhnen. Diese sind aber nicht für gehbehinderte geeignet. Das Dachgeschoß wird sicherlich im Sommer sehr warm sein. Das Bad im EG ist ausreichend groß und durch die Fußbodenheizung angenehm zu nutzen. Der Küchenbereich ist klein aber als ausreichend bestückt zu beschreiben. Leider mußten wir bei der Benutzung die Stecker für Filter-Kaffeemaschine oder Wasserkocher umstecken. Die Gashz. im EG ist eine Herausforderung beim starten und eingestellen. Das W-Lan und der Fernseher funktionieren sehr gut. Leider hatten wir auch Probleme mit den Hausschließanlage. Der Garten und die Hausfassaden könnten besser gepflegt sein

Allgemein war es ein sehr schöner Familienurlaub im Feriendorf Altes Land. Die Umgebung war ebenfalls fantastisch und man konnte eigentlich überall mit dem Fahrrad in der Nähe verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Die Ausstattung im Haus war gut. Jedoch sollten die Schlösser an der Eingangstüre und der Terrassentüre erneuert werden. Ebenfalls wäre ein separater Abzug im Bad von Vorteil. Es war ein schöner Urlaub, wir empfehlen das Ferienhaus weiter und kommen gerne wieder.
