The ul. Ogarna is a quiet street and right nearby you'll find numerous restaurants, cafe's and wine bars. Only about 100 m away are the stops for the tram and the municipal train. With the tram you can reach the beach at the Bay of Gdansk and with the municipal train you can be in the lively beach resort of Sopot with the Grand Hotel and a number of other hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars. You can also go the the Wrzescz stop, the old Gdansk grand avenue. Günther Grass, the Nobel prize winning author was born here, and much reminds one of his great novel, The Tin Drum.
At the end of ul. Orgarna there is a gate to the Motlau, a little river that flows through the Gdansk old Town and enters the Vistula. In the centre, the crane tower, a true symbol of the city of Gdansk. From here only 300 m from the apartment, there is the dock for boat tours in the Bay of Gdansk, to Sopot, to the Hel Peninsula or to the Curonian Spit.
