Our sandy beaches are not crowded even in high season. In addition, the Gulf of Orosei is one of cleanest and prettiest in Italy. Other leisure activities: trekking, cycling, climbing, quads, scuba diving, boat trips, excursions for those interested in archeology, canoeing, expeditions into the hinterland of the Island, wine tasting etc.
Holiday destination
The Rifugio is an ideal place for people who like to relax in beautiful surroundings near the sea and the mountains but also appreciate being very close to a typical Mediterranean holiday resort. Orosei is a picturesque coastal village situated about an hour’s drive south of Olbia (port and airport). The residence is about 1,5 kilometer from the beach on the beautiful Gulf of Orosei also known as Europe’s Caribbean. Restaurants, cafés and shops are within easy walking distance from the Residence, all under a five minute walk.
Getting there
Orosei is about an hour’s drive from Olbia and is about 1 km away from the sandy beach, which is 11 km long. Arrival Options:

How to arrive with the autobus: from june to septembre there are autobusses to the airport and the port of Olbia every two ours. The next stop is about 500 m from our Residence where we can get you. If you have no connection we will organise somebody that can pick you up.

Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl im Holiday Residence Rifugio und wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend willkommen geheissen!
Die Wohnung Azzurra ist toll, mit Sicht über die Dächer, liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Die 2 Bäder sind auch sehr praktisch. Für Fragen und Anliegen war stets jemand zur Stelle.
Von der näheren Umgebung genossen wir vor allem die schönen, sauberen Strände mit glasklarem Wasser und natürlich die täglichen Gelati bei der Gelateria Smeralda in Orosei ;-)
PS: Den Sonnenaufgang am Strand Marina di Orosei bestaunen und dazu im Meer liegen ist ein Muss!

Wir genossen die Sommerend-Tage in der Wohnung Azzurra. Freundlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang. Für unsere Enkelkinder standen die Kinderbettchen und - stühle bereit. Auch alles andere für zum Kochen und Essen war vorhanden. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Spielplätze und Strand in nächster Nähe. Ebenfalls Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Orosei ist ein Städtchen mit echtem sardischem Leben. Traumhafte Sandstrände in der näheren Umgebung. Rundum erholsame Tage. Wir sind schon einige Male hier gewesen und kommen sicher wieder.
