Cancellation policy
Cancellations or changes must always be made in writing.
Cancellations without charge are only possible during a period when travel is prohibited or a travel ban is in force. If the travel period falls within a period of heightened risk or the German Federal Government prohibits travel, there is a statutory entitlement to a refund of the travel price; otherwise, the following cancellation conditions apply as a percentage of the rental fee:
99 to 43 days before arrival: 10%
42 to 29 days before arrival: 40%
28 to 8 days before arrival: 80%
7 to 1 day before arrival: 90%
on the day of arrival: 100%.
In the event of early departure, 100% of the total price as stated in the booking confirmation will be charged.

We recommend day trips in the surrounding area to the Salzhaff, Wismar, Schwerin, Rerik, Kühlungsborn, Bad Doberan or Rostock.
Trips on the Molli narrow-gauge railway. It runs along the Baltic Sea coast from Bad Doberan via Heiligendamm to Kühlungsborn.

Getting there
The resort island of Poel is easily accessible via the A 20 motorway. Take the ‘Insel Poel’ exit at the Wismar motorway junction. Shortly afterwards, you will reach the causeway across the ‘Breitling’, which connects the mainland with the island of Poel.
If you’re travelling by train, get off at Wismar and then take one of the regular bus services. The central bus station is right next to the railway station.
