Day trips include boat rides to the Channel Islands, the mont-Saint-Michel , Bayeux and more locally the fishing ports of Portbail and Carteret have excellent restaurants.

Host informationWe have lived and worked in Paris for many years but have decided to retire to an area we have always loved, Le contentin in Normandy. We purchased and renovated La Fontaine in 2018, we live next door to the cottage but not too close, so you have your own private space but we are on hand if you have any questions. Wir haben uns schon sehr auf die Normandie und das Ferienhaus gefreut. Die Fotos waren schon toll, aber in Wirklichkeit sind das Haus und das Grundstück ein Traum. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Sehr sauber. Fam. Ledevin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gab zu Begrüßung Kekse und Getränke. Mit dem Auto sind wir viel unterwegs gewesen und haben so erneut Saint Michel besucht, ist ein Muss, Caen, Cherbourg, Ebbe und Flut erlebt und dabei die Austernbänke gesehen. Den amerikanischen und deutschen Soldaten Friedhof besucht, sehr bewegend. Das schönste Dorf in der Normandie besucht.
