Holiday destination

Protected natural area Jizera Mountains neighbors on Luzicke Mountains in the West and National Park Krkonose Mountains in the east. The highest peak is Smrk 1124 m. Typical are young spruce forests, dwarf pines and turf areas. There are spectacular views from many view towers, tops of the mountains and stone towers. Two big dams (Sous and Josefuv Dul) are destinations for romantic walks. In summer there are possibilities of many hiking and biking trips in the beautiful countryside that could satisfy sportsmen as well as elderly people. In winter there are ideal conditions for cross-country skiing but beginners as well as masters can find good downhill courses, too. In Harrachov there is a border pass to Poland

By car from Praha (Prague): Take the highwayA65 dierction to Turnov.Then further direction to Harrachov and in Kořenov- 50m behind motel Beseda turn left to Horni Polubny ,there turn left by church and after 100m by parking lot turn right to country road and further about 150m.

Das Haus ist wirklich ganz toll, die Besitzer sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und für das Geld sehr abwechslungsreich. Man kann super spazieren und wandern gehen, zum Skifahren sind es nur wenige Kilometer. Im Ort ist ein super leckeres Restaurant das man sehr gut zu Fuß erreicht. Sauna und Whirlpool sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Im großen und ganzen war es ein super toller Urlaub.
