Holiday destination
Westkapelle is located directly by the sea, nestled among the beach, dyke, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a forested area to the south of the town.
Around the lake, there is a marked hiking trail, and anglers can find their favorite spot. Right at the town center, there is a small beach at the spot where the dyke was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Approximately 12 km of sandy beach unfold there, where you can enjoy endless strolls along the shore. Even during a hefty southwest storm, this beach route is bustling, and not just on the beach itself.
In various beach pavilions, you can stop by for a great meal, with a fantastic view of the sea.
Getting there
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrival from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departure by 10:00 AM (or upon request).
During the high season (July 6, 2019, to August 24, 2019), you can only arrive and depart on Saturdays.
