The polders around Medemblik are known for their excellent pike stocks - but please fish only after obtaining a Vispas and during the open season.
Holiday destination
The quaint old town of Medemblik is situated right on the IJsselmeer. You can take the historic steam train to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam and the vast North Sea beaches are about a half-hour drive away. Sailing, paddling, and cycling are excellent activities to enjoy. If you like fishing, you can do so directly from the house or by boat. The polders are very popular with pike fishermen.

Wir durften im September zusammen mit unserem Hund eine Woche Urlaub in diesem hübschen und gemütlich eingerichteten Ferienhaus genießen.
Wir hatten Glück, dass wir fast jeden Tag auf der Terrasse oder am Steg Zeit verbringen konnten. Ein besonderes Highlight.war das Boot.Das Nahe Ijsselmeer und der kurze Weg nach Medemblik hat uns sehr begeistert.Es ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren oder auch für einen Besuch an der Nordseeküste.
Hervorzuheben ist der sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Kontakt mit Frau Reintjes.
Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit,die wir in Ihrem Ferienhaus verbringen durften.
