Burhave is the right place for those looking for a varied holiday experience. Here you'll find apartments, restaurants, cafes, campsites, a variety of shopping facilities and spa services.
The Spielscheune Burhave-Butjadingen is a fun indoor playground that offers something for the whole family. The kids can race down the wave chute or bounce on the trampoline while the parents relax in massage chairs or play billiards.
Due to Butjadingen's location directly at the sea, the beach is very popular during the summer months.
Swimming in North Sea water without having to watch out for the tides is possible in the Nordsee-Lagune Butjadingen, just a few minutes from Burhave. Enjoy a more quiet atmosphere at Burhave's Grünstrand (grassy beach). Dog owners can let their four-legged companions have fun on the separate dog beach.
The vast landscape invites you take a leisurely walk around the village or along the art promenade that leads to Fedderwardersiel, no matter what the season.

Go and see the polar bears and other animals up close at the zoo by the sea, or join residents of Bremerhaven and 'emigrate' to the USA - who knows, you might even come upon one of your ancestors. Be sure to visit the Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8° Ost and experience all climate zones of the earth in one day, or simply enjoy the maritime flair during a relaxing stroll. All this and much more awaits you in the port city Bremerhaven. At the end of a perfect day, you can linger at the fishing port and have some delicious fish or take a short trip to the container port where you can watch as the large ships load their cargo in the evening light. Bremerhaven is not far from Butjadingen. To get there, you have the option to take the Weser ferry, a convenient and quick ride on which you can take in the panoramic view of Bremerhaven's skyline.

If you feel like taking a day trip, you should visit the Hanseatic city Bremen. A city stroll, cultural diversity, artisans' alleys, the Schnoor (historical landmark) or a nice meal on the Schlachte (promenade along the Weser) turn your trip into a unique experience. Experience the typical Hanseatic atmosphere of the 1200-year old city and explore the narrow alleys with their crooked houses and small shops. Visit Bremen if you're ready for relaxation, astonishment, experiences and enjoyment. On the tour of the historic city hall you will get to see the statue of the Town Musicians of Bremen, the city's famous landmark, in front of the building. A29 Oldenburg - Wilhelmshaven
Exit Jaderberg (10), continue towards Jaderberg-Jade. Federal road B437 towards Varel. After approx. 1 km you'll reach Diekmannshausen; make a right towards the seaside resorts Tossens and Burhave.
...by bus and train
Alternatively, travellers can take the train to Bremen with a connection to Nordenham. From there, they can make use of regular bus connections to Butjadingen's individual districts.

I am fond of Butjadingen's landscape and residents. It is a unique region, where you can recover from daily stress, away from the big cities. Here you'll find ideal conditions for letting your spirits flow and relax.
When I went on holiday, I always looked for a holiday home with a higher level of living comfort as compared to my own home. After much searching I found Haus Annelie.... Here, guests can enjoy total relaxation, the surrounding landscape and simply take a break from the hectic pace. There's plenty of space for children and games.
The peninsula promises a wonderful holiday and you will want to return again and again.

Vier Freundinnen auf dem Weg von Süd nach Nord. Voller Vorfreunde auf das was uns erwartet und dann standen wir vor dem wunderschönen Haus. Die nette Dame von der Ferienhausvermittlung hat uns sehr lieb begrüßt. Blumen und Wein stand auf dem Tisch und wir kamen aus dem Staunen nicht raus. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Jeder von uns hatte sein eigenes Schlafzimmer und wir haben alles ausgekostet. Die Sauna, den Schwimmteich, den Grill, die Tischtennisplatte. Der wunderschöne riesige Garten, war in den Sonnenstunden unser Zuhause. Wir können jedem das Haus weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist perfekt, wir haben tolle Ausflüge gemacht, obwohl das Wetter sehr wechselhaft war.
Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen lieben Dank an den Eigentümer......

Ihr Lieben, du Liebste,
eigentlich müsste ich auf diese Bewertung ganz anders antworten als auf alle anderen. ????
Es war einfach wunderschön, euch im Ferienhaus Annelie zu Besuch zu haben. Der gemeinsame Grillabend, die vielen Gespräche auf der Terrasse, die Zeit am Badeteich, die leckeren Cocktails und die entspannte Atmosphäre werden mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Genau so stellt man sich schöne Sommertage mit guten Freunden vor.
Umso mehr freut es mich, dass ihr euch vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt habt und das Haus genauso genießen konntet, wie ich es mir wünsche – mit viel Zeit im Garten, in der Sauna, am Schwimmteich und natürlich mit vielen gemeinsamen Stunden.
Vielen Dank für eure lieben Worte. Ihr wisst ja: Für euch steht die Tür jederzeit offen. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf euren nächsten Besuch – dann wird der Grill wieder angeheizt und wir verbringen erneut eine tolle Zeit zusammen.
Bitte bleibt für immer gute und beste Freundinnen, ihr seid eine ganz tolle Truppe!

Einmal ganz hoch in den Norden.
Ein wunderbares Haus hat uns erwartet.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl grfühlt.
Der Badeteich, der wunderbare Garten, Sauna und sehr gemütliche Zimmer haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen.
Es waren lustige, erholsame Tage.
Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
