The picturesque harbor town of Sveta Marina is located in the Kvarner Bay. This part of Istria is known for its Mediterranean climate, its subtropical vegetation and its unique, unspoiled nature. Sveta Marina is located at the foot of the Ucka massif. The seaside resort of Opatija, which was appreciated by Austrian emperors at an early age, is approx. 40 km to the east, approx. 40 km to the west is the coastal town of Pula with its famous amphitheater, in which first-class theater / music performances take place all year round. There is also an international airport here.

Ein Supermarkt und Restaurants befinden sich knappe 350 m vom Haus entfernt. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß eigentlich alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Das Auto kann ruhig stehen bleiben…. Kulinarisch hat die Region auch sehr viel zu bieten. Die etwa 10 Minuten Autofahrt entfernte Stadt Labin ist Dreh- und Angelpunkt in der Gegend. Ein Besuch in der historischen Altstadt mit ihren Kirchen, engen Gassen, Geschäften, Museen, Galerien, Bars und Restaurants ist immer einen Ausflug wert.

Host informationWe have been living in this small town for almost 45 years, have traveled all over the world, but have lost our heart here and fell in love with Sveta Marina. The house has a rare, very pleasant charm that infects you, that never tires you and always surprises you. It is a pleasure to be in and around the house. Simply ideal to relax and unwind. A little time has stood still here ... !!! And sometimes that doesn't hurt either.
