In addition to the nearest beach at Sint Maartenszee, there are other noteworthy beaches nearby such as in Petten, Callantsoog, Camperduin with a freshwater lagoon, Julianadorp. Den Helder with the ferry terminal to the island of Texel is 15 km away. Alkmaar with its famous cheese market and beautiful canals is about 20 km away.

The beach can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. The next larger town Callantsoog with a cozy center, restaurants, and shops is 6 km away. There is also an Albert Heijn supermarket there.
Worthwhile excursions: Alkmaar, Schagen, Den Helder for a day trip to Texel, the nature reserve "Zwanenwater" just before Callantsoog, the dune area in Schoorl with many dune hiking trails.

Wir haben eine schöne Urlaubswoche mit unserer 5 Monate alten Tochter im Ferienhaus im Eureka Park verbracht. Gegen die kalten Temperaturen hat der Ofen geholfen, wobei wir auch ein paar Sonnenstunden auf den Liegen auf der Terrasse verbracht haben.
Ausflüge nach Callantsoog, Den Helder (Fort Kijkduin) und Schoorl waren neben vielen Spaziergängen nette Unternehmungen.
Das Haus bietet alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt.
Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!
