The foundation Nederland-Schoon has awarded Oostkapelle several times with the prize for the most beautiful beach resort in the Netherlands and the cleanest beach. The holiday park Hoge Weide is only about 800 meters from the beach. It has a play meadow, sandbox, swings, and is a little paradise for children. The beach is quickly accessible on foot or by bike.
