There is also (10 minutes by foot) a beautiful swimming hole for cooling off.
In 8 minutes you can reach the wide estuary bay of Ostriconi, which, with its unspoiled nature and gently sloping beach, is a bathing paradise; in 45 minutes you can reach the mountains with beautiful river valleys like the Asco, Golo, Restonica, Tavignano where you can swim in the summer.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Ferienwohnung in Urtaca zu fünft verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Edel Hauck, der Vermieterin, empfangen, die uns viele Tipps zur Umgebung für Ausflüge in der Umgebung gab. Die günstige Lage der Ferienwohnung hat es möglich gemacht, Ausflüge zu Stränden, an Flüsse / Gumpen und in die Berge und benachbarte Bergdörfer zu unternehmen ohne langes Autofahren.
Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist gemütlich, sauber und bestens ausgestattet, besonders haben wir uns über die Spülmaschine gefreut. Die traumhafte Aussicht aus der Wohnung und von der Dachterrasse mit zahlreichen Sonnenuntergängen hat uns begeistert. Wir können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die alte Ölmühle ist ein Ort in dem man auf wunderbare Weise zur Ruhe kommt und Abstand vom Alltag gewinnt. Das authentische und nicht touristische Dorf Urtaca ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die verschiedensten Ausflüge. Mit dem Auto erreicht man in etwa 15 Minuten zwei sehr schöne Strände: Lozari und Ostriconi. Edel ist eine außergewöhnlich aufmerksame und herzliche Gastgeberin, die uns stets mit Insider-Tipps weiterhelfen konnte. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und man findet dort alles was man braucht. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die wunderbare Dorfgumpe, an der wir oft alleine waren und uns von einem heißen Strandaufenthalt erfrischen konnten. Wir haben es sehr genossen, Korsika fernab der Touristenströme kennen lernen zu dürfen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
