Holiday destination

Sete Cidades lakes. Batalha, a 27 hole golf course, other golf course is located in Furnas. Ferraria hot thermal springs . You can rent a boat for fishing or visit the caves along the coast. There are several lakes and picnic areas nearby. Take a walk thru Gruta do Carvao and see the formation of volcanic activity. Sao Miguel holds a treasure full of interesting, exciting and exotic places to be explored. From the Chalet you can explore the mountains, lagoons, water falls and breathtaking coastline.

Getting there

When you leave the airport head towards Relva, Stay on the Regional Road, you will pass the villages of Feteiras, Candelaria, Ginetes, Varzea, you will see a sign that says turn left for Mosteiros. Turn left untill you see a sign that says Pico Do Mafra, there you will make a U Turn and head back, you will pass 5 homes on the right and at the last home you will see a yellow chaple looking building, between the last home and this building is a street that reads Rua do Caminho Velho. This is a dirt road, follow that down pass the pic nic area, after that you will see a white house trimed in blue, you keep going when you see the last electric pole you will see a large stone wall, that is the property, the driveway is on the left # 21

Wunderschönes kleines Haus, traumhafte Aussicht, bequeme Betten und schlichte hochertige Ausstattung. Alles sehr sauber. Der grosse Garten ist gepflegt und kann mitbenützt werden. Jeden Tag entdeckt man etwas Neues zum Staunen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr charmant und pünktlich vor Ort. In dieses kleine Paradies würde ich sofort wiederkehren.
