Holiday destination
Our penthouse is located in the Aparthotel Kooiker in the small village of Buren and is only about 150 meters away from the center of Buren. The supermarket, bakery, a café, and restaurant are just a few minutes' walk away. The beach is also within walking distance, approximately 15 minutes away. From the apartment, you can start great cycling tours or simply go for a walk in the evening to enjoy a delicious meal.
Getting there
You can comfortably reach the ferry terminal in Holwerd by car from all directions. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a car reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your usual destination station will be Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or even more affordably by a subsequent bus ride. The taxi ride takes approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic, while the bus will take about 50 minutes.

Wieder eine Wohnung gemietet, nachdem ich zuvor gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatte. Es fühlte sich an wie nach Hause kommen. Komfortable und geräumige Wohnung in einer gepflegten, kleinen Anlage. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet: reichlich Dienstleistungen und Küchenutensilien, 2 Arten von Kaffeemaschinen, Waschmaschine und Trockner zur Benutzung durch die Gäste sowie eine Sauna.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, mit allem, was ich benötigte. Gemütlich, heimelig, modern und sauber. Es waren Geschirrspülmittel, Toilettenpapier und ein Müllsack bereitgestellt, was angenehm war. Nachteil: Das Wohnzimmer hat kein Fenster, nur die Balkontür.
Die Nachbarschaft ist meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr das, was sie einmal war. Zwei Restaurants haben seit meinem letzten Aufenthalt geschlossen, und das Hotel De Klok bietet kein vollständiges Abendmenü mehr an. Die einzigen Optionen in der Nähe sind die familiengeführten Restaurants rund um den Campingplatz, der Strandclub und Het Koaikershuus (fantastisch!). Schön ist die Ruhe und die Natur in dieser Nachbarschaft.
Alles in allem: Ich habe es genossen. Ameland ist klein, sodass man überall leicht hinkommt, und ENJOY ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung. Dennoch werde ich beim nächsten Mal wieder Nes oder Ballum wählen.
