Harbour House Villa is located on a promontory over looking the Bay of Islands and the picturesque Opua yacht marina nestled between twin Norfork Pines. Over four hundred cruising yachts visit Opua each year. It is the country's most northern "Port of Entry" which makes it an ideal stop-over point on the way to or from the romantic "South Seas". The basin also hosts an occasional cruise ships. Ships entering or exiting the port pass below and in close proximity to Harbour House Villa. The twice weekly sail boat races are easily viewed from our rooms or spacious viewing deck and provide a colourful panorama of brightly coloured sails set against a green hill backdrop.
