There is local public transportation in the form of train (into the Vinschgau valley) and bus.
For hikers, mountain bikers and cyclists, Algund is an ideal starting point: you can quickly reach a high-alpine landscape with diverse destinations and opportunities for refreshment with the funicular (to the mountain village of Aschbach) or with the gondola (to Vellau).
Merano is the adjacent city and offers amazing attractions:
the Merano thermal baths, the botanical garden at Schloss Trauttmansdorff, the beautiful pergolas, the Passer River promenade, the Tappeinerweg trail, the spa house and much more.
